Postmodernism is considered to be a late twentieth-century concept of styles and ideas that deal with art, architecture and culture and shows a deviation from modernism. This is the current era we live in and is continuously evolving. The different eras of art, such as realism, modernism, and postmodernism, come as a result of the current times and is a way to communicate and connect with specific groups that have formed in society. Postmodernism often times plays with a more imaginative and exotic way of creating art. One thing that was confusing for me was the idea about hyperreality, which is defined as exaggerated in comparison to reality.
